In a historic building in Frederiksberg, we delivered a design-to-construction project of a partition wall with reclaimed elements.
The client wanted as much reuse as possible and thus we sourced glass from old windows and a high end wood door from JJensen Genbrug. The door was retrofitted with a new lock box and handle, so the client could lock off the top floor. The partition wall acts as a divider in a two floor flat, that the client shares with family.
Folkk came up with 3 design proposals for the client, using various reclaimed window glass from Genbyg. After the overall design was chosen Folkk built the wall and along the way decided on details, such as the door handles, together with the client.
