Classy makeover in Frederiksberg
A warm refurbishment with a classy finish
In this project, Folkk created a transformation within a transformation.
To accomodate the expansion of the family, the client needed to convert the former kitchen into an extra bedroom, which meant the kitchen needed moving. We moved all components to the living room, refurbished the fronts with a beautiful warm beige hue and added brass details in the sink, faucet and handles.
The resulst is a stark departure from the white push-to-open, hyperminimalism of the 2000's and venture into a much softer, warmer and human feel. This especially with the linoleum table tops donning a coffee chocolate brown, with oak linings.
The final project was roughly half of the competing offers for new kithcens.
