In this project Folkk delivered a full annex to a summerhouse, using woodfiber construction and reclaimed doors and windows.
The project started with a full kit from Woodstock Robots, enabling less than 5% waste on construction wood. Using a full digital twin, we were also able to maintain very low levels of waste on our woodfiber insulation (hemp), wind break (woodfiber) and moisture barrier (woodfiber)
The large door and single window were sourced from Jensen Genbrug and Genbyg and the facadecladding is made with discarded Superwood. The whole construction will be painted black with natural linseed oil paint.
